Why is it such a big mystery as to where people go when they die?
We were told all of our lives that our family members who had passed away were in Heaven looking down on us or that rotten John is in Hell being bar-b-qued by Satan.
I see two things wrong with that statement.
1. The Bible says NO ONE has ascended up to heaven but he that came down from heaven, which is Jesus Christ (John 3:13)
2. If man was to go to heaven or hell when they die, that means that they have already been judged, right? But the Bible says that man will not be judged until Jesus returns.
Why is the Word of God made to be complicated? The first book of the Bible tells us where we go when we die... Genesis 3:19 ".. for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."
Answer: We go back to the dust when we die.
